二、distant是什么意思

三、distant和far之间的区别是什么
三个词都有"表示在时间、空间的远离、远隔或分开"的含义,但是具体用来仍有一定区别。
一、distant相对于far来说更为正式一些,而且distant所表示的通常是具体的距离或者即便不具体也是相当长的距离。再者,distant和remote都可以表示关系的远近亲疏,而far则极少。Distant的反义词可以有close, friendly等。例句:
1)The center of the city is about 10 miles distant from the station.市中心距离车站约有10英里远。表示空间的距离。
需要注意的是:在表示距离的数字后面常常用distant来连接,而far, remote没有这种用法。
